This Refund and Returns Policy governs all purchases made through Of Sheen (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”). As a fine jewelry brand specializing in precious metals, gemstones, and handcrafted luxury pieces, we have established this policy to protect the integrity of our designs, ensure the authenticity of every item we resell, and set clear expectations for our customers. This policy is drafted in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws, with terms structured to safeguard both our brand and our customers’ legitimate rights.
Overview
Our standard refund and return window lasts 30 calendar days from the date you receive your order. If more than 30 days have passed since your delivery date, we are unable to offer you a full refund, exchange, or store credit for any reason. All return and refund requests are subject to our eligibility verification and professional quality inspection process, as outlined below.
Return Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following mandatory criteria, with no exceptions:
- The item must be in brand new, unworn, unaltered, and undamaged condition, with no signs of wear, scratches, tarnishing, discoloration, or contact with cosmetics, perfumes, lotions, sweat, or any other substances that may impact the item’s integrity and resale value.
- The item must be returned in its original, unmodified packaging, including the branded Of Sheen luxury box, dust pouch, authenticity certificate, gemstone grading report, warranty card, and all original tags, security seals, and documentation provided at the time of purchase.
- The item has not been customized, engraved, resized, or modified in any way from its original manufactured design.
- You can provide valid proof of purchase, including your order number, original receipt, or payment confirmation for the item.
- A formal return authorization (RA) request has been submitted and approved by our customer care team prior to shipping the item back. Items returned without pre-approval will not be processed.
Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items
For health, safety, valuation, and brand protection reasons, the following categories of goods are strictly exempt from return, exchange, or refund, under any circumstances:
- Custom, personalized, or made-to-order pieces: All items that have been engraved, monogrammed, resized, custom-designed, or modified to your personal specifications are final sale and non-returnable, as they cannot be resold to another customer.
- Pierced and intimate jewelry: For strict health and hygiene reasons, all ear piercing studs, earrings, nose rings, body jewelry, and other intimate wearable pieces are final sale once the original packaging or security seal has been opened.
- Precious metal investment pieces: All gold, platinum, silver, or other precious metal items priced based on live market spot rates (including bullion, plain metal bands, and investment-grade pieces) are final sale, as their value fluctuates daily with market conditions.
- High jewelry and limited-edition collections: All one-of-a-kind, high jewelry, limited-edition, and collaborative collection pieces are final sale and non-eligible for return or refund.
- Gift cards and digital products: All digital gift cards, downloadable content, and virtual services are non-refundable once purchased.
- Health and personal care items: Any jewelry care products, cleaning solutions, or sanitizing items that have been opened are non-returnable.
- Hazardous materials: Any flammable cleaning products or regulated goods included with your order are non-returnable once opened.
Return Authorization & Submission Process
To initiate a return, you must follow this process strictly:
- Contact our customer care team at {official customer service email} within 30 days of your delivery date, with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and clear photos of the item and all original packaging to verify condition.
- Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days. If approved, we will issue you a unique Return Authorization (RA) number and the official return shipping address.
- Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer, our suppliers, or any address other than the official return address we provide. We are not liable for items shipped to incorrect addresses, and such items will not be eligible for a refund.
- Clearly mark the RA number on the outside of your return package. Packages without a visible RA number will be refused and returned to sender at your cost.
Partial Refund Guidelines
There are specific situations where only partial refunds may be granted, at our sole discretion, or where refunds may be denied entirely:
- Any book or printed guide included with your purchase that shows obvious signs of use, water damage, or missing pages.
- Any jewelry item that is returned with signs of wear, scratches, tarnishing, or damage, even if minor, that impacts its resale value. We reserve the right to deduct a restocking, refurbishment, or loss-of-value fee of up to 50% of the item’s purchase price, based on the extent of the damage.
- Any item that is missing original packaging, authenticity certificates, warranty cards, or other included accessories. We will deduct the full replacement cost of these missing items from your refund amount.
- Any item that is altered, resized, or engraved, even if the modification was performed by a third party.
- Any item returned more than 30 days after the delivery date, which will be ineligible for a full refund and may only be considered for repair services at our sole discretion.
- Any item damaged or with missing parts due to reasons not caused by our manufacturing error or shipping damage.
Refunds
Once your returned item is received at our facility, our professional gemology and quality control team will conduct a full inspection of the item, including verification of authenticity, condition, and completeness of all included materials, within 3-5 business days of delivery.
We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item, and a follow-up email to inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund request. Our inspection decision is final.
If your refund is approved, it will be processed automatically to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days of approval. We do not offer cash refunds, and all refunds will only be issued to the original payment account used for the purchase.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within the stated processing timeframe, please follow these steps before contacting us:
- Recheck your bank account and original payment method account to confirm the credit has not been posted.
- Contact your credit card company or payment provider. It may take up to 10 business days for a refund to be officially posted to your account, due to standard processing times.
- Contact your bank. There is often a processing hold time (up to 15 business days) before a refund is cleared and posted to your account, especially for international transactions.
If you have completed all of the above steps and still have not received your refund after 20 business days from our approval notification, please contact us at {official customer service email} with your order number and refund approval confirmation.
Sale & Promotional Items
Only full-priced items are eligible for return and refund under this policy. All sale items, promotional discounted pieces, flash sale items, clearance merchandise, and items purchased with a discount code (excluding first-time customer discounts) are final sale and cannot be refunded, returned, or exchanged.
For sale items verified to have a manufacturing defect or quality issue at the time of delivery, we will offer complimentary repair services or an exchange for the identical item (if in stock), at our sole discretion. No cash refunds will be issued for sale items.
Exchanges
We only offer exchanges for items that are verified to have a manufacturing defect, material flaw, or shipping damage upon delivery. We do not offer exchanges for reasons of personal preference, size changes, or change of mind.
If you need to exchange a defective item for the identical same item (same style, material, size, and specification), contact us at {official customer service email} within 30 days of delivery with your order number, clear photos and video of the defect, and proof of purchase. Once your request is reviewed and approved, we will provide you with a return authorization number and return shipping instructions.
All exchanged items are subject to the same inspection process as returns. Once the original item is received and verified to be defective, we will ship the replacement item to you.
Gift Orders
- If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you as the gift recipient, you will receive a non-expiring Of Sheen gift credit for the value of your returned item, once the item is received, inspected, and approved. A digital gift certificate will be sent to your email address upon approval. No cash refunds will be issued to gift recipients.
- If the item was not marked as a gift at the time of purchase, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to gift to you at a later date, we will issue the refund directly to the original gift giver (the payment account holder). We are not liable for disclosing the return to the gift giver, and no refund or credit will be issued to the gift recipient in this scenario.
Shipping Returns
To return your product, you must mail it to the official Of Sheen return address provided to you with your approved return authorization number.
- You are solely responsible for paying all shipping costs for returning your item. Return shipping costs are non-refundable under any circumstances. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your total refund amount.
- We do not accept COD (cash on delivery) or freight-collect shipments. Any packages sent with postage due will be refused and returned to the sender at your full cost.
- For all returned items, especially high-value pieces, we strongly require you to use a trackable, fully insured shipping service. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and we are not liable for any items that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit back to us. All risk of loss during return shipping remains solely with you, the customer.
- Transit times for returned or exchanged items will vary based on your location. We are not liable for any delays in shipping or delivery of return packages.
Important Legal Disclaimers & Brand Protections
- Inspection Finality: Our professional gemology and quality control team holds the sole and final discretion to determine if a returned item meets our eligibility criteria. All inspection results are final, and we reserve the right to refuse any return that does not fully comply with this policy.
- Delivery & Unboxing Verification: All items are fully inspected, photographed, and security sealed prior to shipment. You must inspect your order in full at the time of delivery, before signing for the package. If your item arrives damaged, incorrect, or with missing parts, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery, with a full unboxing video and clear photos of the package, item, and shipping label. Claims submitted after this 24-hour window will not be accepted.
- Natural Gemstone Disclosure: Natural gemstones may contain inherent characteristics such as inclusions, color variations, and natural textures, which are part of the stone’s unique nature. These natural features are not considered defects, and we do not accept returns or refunds based on these inherent natural characteristics.
- Anti-Fraud & Anti-Tampering Policy: We reserve the right to refuse any return if we suspect fraud, tampering, counterfeit swapping, or abuse of this policy. We maintain a record of all serial numbers, security markings, and pre-shipment photos of every item we sell. Any fraudulent activity will result in permanent restriction from our store, and we reserve the right to pursue all legal remedies available to us.
- Policy Updates: We reserve the right to modify, update, or amend this Refund and Returns Policy at any time, at our sole discretion. Changes will be posted on this page, and your purchase after the updated policy effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
